Commissioner's Pet Peeve of the week:

There is a DATAWATCH fob* that you have to swipe every time you enter the lobby of my building. It's easy for me (and most guys) cuz it just dangles from our little belt clip-elastic-pully thing and we swipe in. It takes 2 seconds tops. The thing is, everybody has to do it for security reasons, even if you're all coworkers going to the same office. So if it's at a certain time in the morning or after lunch it can create a little bottle-neck of folks needing to swipe (only 1 place to swipe). Well, there is always one woman who just suddenly remembers that you have to do this right as she gets up to the swipey thing, and then guess what... she has to dig through her gigantic mess of a purse to find her fob card, i've stood there for like 4-5 minutes before, which seems like an eternity. I know it doesn't sound like a lot of time, but the fact is that you know you have to do this, you just had your entire fucking commute to get that card ready or put it in a handy place, and still this thought does not occur to you until you're standing in front of the thing and there is a queue of people behind you... some people...i tell ya....
